Is Eminem Hooking Up With Rihanna On Tour?

Are Eminem and Rihanna hooking up on the The Monster Tour? If you want to believe what OK! Magazine has to say then they might be.

In the September 1st edition of OK! Magazine, the tabloid is claiming that Eminem and Rihanna’s chemistry goes far beyond making music, “A backstage source says the stars who are currently single, have gotten close during their tour, and rumors are swirling that they’ve even started sleeping together in a no-strings attached cross-country affair.”

The magazines source also claims that, “They have fantastic chemistry and a lot more in common than anyone would think. Neither of the wants a commitment. She likes being single and once the tour is over she’ll be done with him. She has a short attention span when it comes to guys.”

That’s a pretty bold claim to make, even for a gossip magazine. Eminem and Rihanna have been working together for years but is it more than just work?

Gossipcop.com seems to have busted OK! Magazine as they say one of Eminem’s reps contacted them and said that the claims by OK! are “completely, utterly untrue.”

Which side of the story do you believe?

Eminem is a legend when it comes to performances at the VMAs and he always knows how to put on a show. Relive some of his greatest moments from the MTV award show below.

Which performance do you think was the best?

#5 – Without Me – 2002

Eminem was back on the scene with a vengeance and he wanted to get people talking. In true Eminem style he did just that. This is one of his most scaled back performances at the VMAs but still a memorable one.

#4 – My Name Is/Guilty Conscious/Nuthin But A G Thang – 1999

Eminem was ushered into the VMAs by Dr. Dre himself with a special appearance from Snoop Dogg. Em stepped up to the plate for his first VMA performance and knocked it out of the park with this one.

#3 – Not Afraid/Love The Way You Lie – 2010

After going through a few tough years, Eminem made a huge comeback with his album “Recovery” and he wanted to let the world know that Eminem meant business. This is definitely one of his most emotional and powerful performances to date and having Rihanna as his special guest only made it that much more memorable.

#2 – White America/Cleanin Out My Closet – 2002

MTV just couldn’t get enough of Eminem this year and he definitely raised the bar as far as live performances go. Eminem managed to create a spectacle that would be talked about for years to come, just think about it, we’re talking about it right now.

#1 – The Real Slim Shady/The Way I Am – 2000

This was Eminem’s big moment at the VMAs and it was an epic performance to boot. Eminem marched an army of Slim Shady wannabes through the streets of New York and then tore the house down when he got inside. On this night, Eminem stole the show.

Jay Z Calls Eminem The Most Overrated Rapper Of All Time

Apparently Jay Z isn’t an Eminem fan. He recently told Music One how he really feels about Slim Shady and you can check out a few quotes below.

He said, “I don’t really understand the appeal of the dude… He dropped a few hot verses back in the day, but he’s been mad average for many years now. He is probably the most overrated rapper of all-time, but he did really well targeting his audience. He is a genius in that sense, but in the bigger scheme of things, there are a million rappers who were and are light-years ahead of him.”

Jay also doesn’t like the fact that he’s sold so many records, “When you really think about it, it’s ridiculous that Em has outsold so many rappers with real talent. 2Pac, Nas, Big and Kanye and myself would rap circles around him. I am not trying to take away from his talent, but in all reality, his catalogue can’t match mine.”

Just to put things into perspective, Eminem is not just the best selling rapper of all time, he’s the second best selling male solo artist ever. Eminem has sold around 44.91 million records worldwide.

We can’t wait to see how Eminem responds.

Eminem Accepts Dr. Dre’s Ice Bucket Challenge

Well we were wondering if Eminem would step up and get in on the ice bucket challenge and the answer is a definite yes. Dr. Dre recently challenged Eminem and Snoop Dogg and Eminem has answered the call by accepting the challenge.

He confirmed earlier today via his Twitter.

This means we could possibly be seeing an Eminem ice bucket challenge video at some point today. You know Eminem always does things big so you can expect something special when it comes.

Dr. Dre Nominates Eminem And Snoop Dogg For The Ice Bucket Challenge

Dr. Dre has just called out Eminem to do the ice bucket challenge and this isn’t the first time Slim Shady has been called out either. Recently hockey player Alex Ovechkin called out Eminem as well but Em still has yet to respond. We think a challenge from Dr. Dre himself might have a better chance at getting his attention.

Dr. Dre was called out by Apple’s Tim Cook. The two are now associates due to the fact that Apple recently acquired Beats.

It took Dre longer than 24 hours to complete the challenge but at least he got it done. We know Snoop Dogg will most likely do it but with all these people calling Eminem out one has to wonder if he will join in on the fun.

Is An Eminem Vs Jay Z Or Eminem Vs Nas Rap Battle Coming?

Is an Eminem vs. Jay Z or Eminem vs. Nas rap battle coming? Loaded Lux seems to think so. Rap battles have come a long way but still seem to remain mostly underground Loaded Lux recently told VladTV that he thinks rap battles are about to go mainstream and that big stars such as Eminem and Jay Z are going to want to participate.

“[Battle rap in big venues] is becoming the new normal. Why Meek Mill couldn’t jump in there with Lil Wayne? It’s so many that could do it. Everybody in Slaughterhouse could do it,” said Lux. “Eminem, come on he’s from that. Let him get a big enough playing field. Em versus Nas, or Em versus Jay – it’s coming.”

Lux seems to think that rap battles could become very successful commercially and we’re going to have to agree.

“[If] people just stop buying albums, and they start paying just to see battles. What you think the game gonna do?” asked the Harlem native.

What do you think is it coming?

Alex Ovechkin Calls Eminem Out To Do The Ice Bucket Challenge

Russian NHL hockey player Alex Ovechkin of the Capitals is getting in on the ice bucket challenge and he wants Eminem to do the same. For those unaware of what the ice bucket challenge is, it’s something people are doing right now to raise awareness and donations for ALS. You dump ice water on yourself and then donate $10 to ALS or skip the ice water and donate $100. After you’re done you call someone else out and they have 24 hours to do the same.

Alex Ovechkin has called out Eminem. What do you think? Will Eminem answer the challenge?

Rihanna Joins Eminem On Stage At Lollapalooza

Eminem fans got a big surprise over the weekend as Rihanna joined Eminem on stage during his set at Lollapalooza. Eminem headlined the first night of the Chicago festival and Rihanna was his special guest. No one saw it coming but everyone was happy when it happened.

Rihanna took the mic and sang her usual spots on “The Monster” and “Love The Way You Lie” but fans in attendance also got an extra special treat. Rihanna also sang Dido’s parts during Eminem’s performance of “Stan” and she absolutely killed it.

You can check out a video of the performance below and don’t forget that The Monster tour will be kicking off August 7th.
